    It was said that this version would not crash CS:S, apparently not. It still crashes whenever I join a server.

    Yep, it does crash with me too
    I have E5200 cpu
    8800 gt nvidia
    2gb ram ddr2
    please tell how to activate open gl in css, cuz its there is no option on CSS menu. note Kh_dyn 1.0 works great !

    You have to run CSS and join a server, or as I do, create a server. After CSS has been run, exit server or the server you’ve created back to Splash screen(aka menu screen). While not connected to any server, alt-tab to desktop then start the program. Game will not crash if you have run the game on a server at least once before starting this application.
